AURORA(TM) REIKI

Reiki is the hands-on channeling of transformational energy into the body. Reiki is Tibetan in origin but was rediscovered by the Japanese Dr. Usui. Kat defines Reiki energy as, "the energy that makes the heart beat and the lungs breathe; as invisible and powerful as gravity."

Aurora(TM) Reiki was born out of Kat's twenty years of experience as a Reiki Therapist and her experiential work with the nature based traditions. Kat says, "the body is electric a virtual symphony of color, light and sound frequencies. Aurora Reiki is about bringing the frequencies into balance."

Aurora Reiki restores balance and re-aligns the mental, physical and spiritual bodies in a safe, supportive, non-judgemental environment through the release of pent-up feelings; feelings you may or may not even be aware you have; feelings you may be scared or ashamed of; feelings you had to suppress in order to survive.

A non-traditional approach to Reiki incorporating the intuitive wisdom of the the Wild Feminine.

If you think you have healing hands, if you're curious about trying and/or exploring energetic healing, if you've been healing and have no idea how not to absorb other people's "stuff," than Reiki could be the holistic modality for you.

A Reiki therapist draws the Reiki energy through her crown chakra and channels it through her hands into the client's body. She is capable of doing this because she has been attuned by a Reiki Master. Attunement is the process wherein the Reiki symbols are placed into the "being," of the future healer; the symbols act as a magnet for Reiki energy. Being attuned to Reiki is akin to carrying your very own first aid kit around with you wherever you go.

Kat focuses primarily on the front of the body, teaches the traditional hand positions and hand positions that she has developed over the years. For attunement Kat uses the tradition Usui symbols in conjunction with the symbols passed onto her by Spirit.

Kat received her 1st and 2nd degree attunements through Nancy Ratzloff of the Santa Monica Alliance and her Master through Nan Seedman of Intentional Reiki. She encourages you to make the energy your own and will do everthing she possibly can to help you uncover your own unique, healing abilities.
